The Master of Business
Administration (MBA) of the BRAC Business School is a skill-based, 60 credit
(20 courses and an internship), two-year full time Program. A student may,
however, enroll as a part time student. The duration of the part time program
depends on the chosen course loads.
All MBA classes are
held in the evenings, 6:30pm-9:30pm, Sunday through Wednesday.
The primary objective of the MBA program is to
provide the students a synergistic combination of knowledge, skill and
experience towards strengthening their professional business skills. The
individual attributes that are focused in particular, include;
- Ability to work in a team/group environment
- Ability to work under stress
- Analytical ability to choose between alternatives
After completion of the MBA Program, the
graduates are expected to engage in careers in business, industry and commerce.
For Admission into MBA program, a candidate must
satisfy the following requirements:
Minimum bachelor degree (15 years of education or
14 years of education with 8 or more years of corporate experience) with at
least 2nd class/division obtained or
CGPA of 2.50 out of 4 at every level of education. An applicant must
pass the admission test consisting of a written test and an interview.
- All candidates are required to appear in the Admission Test.
- All BRACU graduates having a CGPA 3.00 or above are exempted from the written admission test.*
Fields for Exemption from Test**:
Applicants of MBA will get exemption from the written test if they have the following GRE/GMAT scores :
Graduate Record Examination (GRE):
Earlier/Old GRE: 450 verbal/550 analytical/650 quantitative
Revised GRE: 300 total for combined Verbal and Quantitative scores
Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT):
560 total for combined scores
[GRE/GMAT scores are considered valid for 5 (five) years after the test date]
