Masters in Procurement and Supply Management


Admission Requirements:

A candidate must meet the following requirements for admission into the Masters in Procurement and Supply Management:

a)  Minimum Bachelor Degree (15 years of study) with at least 2nd class or CGPA 2.5 or above in the bachelor's degree
b)  Candidates with third division or CGPA of 2.00 at any level of education are not eligible to apply.

c)  The candidate must qualify in an admission test.

d)  Candidates having qualifications from The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply   (CIPS) of UK will be granted waiver as per BRAC University rules.***

d) Candidates having an MBA degree may be given waivers in some optional subjects as per BRAC University Waiver policy.

*** The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply (CIPS) of UK offer courses on Purchasing and Supply and the CIPS qualifications and standards, although administered in UK, are available throughout the world through the Study Centres of CIPS.  The CIPS qualifications are accredited by the Qualifications Curriculum Authority of UK.

Admission Test
  • All candidates are required to appear in the Admission Test.
  • All BRACU graduates having a CGPA 3.00 or above are exempted from the written admission test.*
Fields for Exemption from Test**:

Applicants of MPSM will get exemption from the written test if they have the following GRE/GMAT scores :

Graduate Record Examination (GRE):
Earlier/Old GRE: 450 verbal/550 analytical/650 quantitative
Revised GRE: 300 total for combined Verbal and Quantitative scores
Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT):
560 total for combined scores

[GRE/GMAT scores are considered valid for 5 (five) years after the test date]
